Refund and Returns Policy

At Picnics & Patios, your satisfaction is our priority. We stand behind every item we sell and want you to feel confident shopping with us. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about returns, refunds, and exchanges.
1. Return Eligibility
You may return most unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Items must be:
- In original condition
- In original packaging
- With all accessories and parts included
2. Items That Cannot Be Returned
We are unable to accept returns on:
- Clearance or “Last Call” items marked Final Sale
- Gift cards
- Custom or personalized products
- Items damaged through misuse, improper installation, or neglect
3. Return Shipping & Restocking Fees
- Standard Returns: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
- Restocking Fee: A 5–10% restocking fee may apply to cover inspection, handling, and repackaging. This fee does not apply to damaged or incorrect items.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us within 30 days of delivery.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, include:
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item and the packaging
We’ll arrange a replacement, exchange, or full refund, and we’ll cover return shipping if the issue is confirmed.
5. Refund Process
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
- Once the returned item is received and inspected, we process refunds within 5–10 business days.
- Depending on your bank, funds may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear in your account.
- You’ll receive an email confirmation when your refund has been completed.
6. Exchanges
Need to swap for a different item? Reach out and we’ll help coordinate an exchange. In-stock items are often shipped right away. Return shipping may apply unless the original item was damaged or incorrect.
7. Late or Missing Refunds
If more than 10 business days have passed and you haven’t received your refund:
- Check your bank or credit card statement again
- Contact your bank or card provider — processing times vary
- If you still haven’t received your refund, email us at support@picnicsandpatios.com and we’ll help resolve the issue quickly
8. How to Start a Return
To begin your return, email support@picnicsandpatios.com with the following:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Reason for return
- A photo (if the item is damaged or incorrect)
We’ll respond within 1–2 business days with your return instructions.
9. Your Responsibility
To ensure smooth processing, we kindly ask that you:
- Retain original packaging when possible
- Follow provided return instructions
- Submit refund or damage claims within 30 days of delivery
